Genius IQ Game Privacy Policy:

Genius IQ Game (not affiliated with ML Genius Holdings LLC) is a free Genius.com-themed trivia game. In order to function, we only store an authentication cookie (expiring 24 hours after issuance) generated with the Genius API. We do not use any other cookie, including non-essential ones for analytics or tracking. UI preferences are stored on your device locally.

Anyone under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in the EU) is NOT permitted to use this website and, if I am made aware, the data will be promptly deleted. If you believe a child under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in the EU) has provided their personal data, please contact me at whoisckr+privacy@gmail.com.

Data we collect:
- Genius username
- Genius user ID
- Genius profile picture

All of this is publicly available information. Data is retained for the duration of the project's operation (or until a deletion request is actioned) to maintain game leaderboards, which we identify as a Legitimate Interest. We do not sell your personal information.

IQ Game is hosted on Cloudflare Pages for global content delivery including a leaderboard database in the Eastern North America (U.S.) region, therefore Cloudflare may collect additional information for security and performance reasons. This includes:
- IP address
- Browser metadata
- Additional technical information described at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

The Genius API allows us to verify your account. In the future, if project scope increases and additional data is required, that will be disclosed as well.

If you wish to access or have your data deleted, please send me an email at whoisckr+privacy@gmail.com. Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request access or deletion of your own data. Nonetheless, I will fulfill any access or deletion request for one's own data within 30 days of receipt.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) and believe that I have processed your personal data in violation of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
